Winter Snowkiting Course in Estonia
Our Winter Snowkiting Course is the perfect way to start kitesurfing before summer: learn kite control, safety and the basics on snow with IKO licensed instructors on Harlem gear, then continue on the water in spring with our Full Kitesurfing Course.
Step 1 – Equipment, Wind & Safety in the Winter Course
Preparing and handling the kite equipment, understanding the wind window and wind conditions, and learning the key safety systems, with full insurance coverage for student, instructor and equipment.
Step 2 – Kite Control
Launching and landing the kite safely, and flying and controlling it in different positions. These are the skills you will need later when you start learning on the water.
Step 3 – Practice on Snow
When snow and wind conditions allow, we put what you have learned into practice on snow, on a snowboard or on skis.
Why Start Kitesurfing in Winter?
On snow you can focus on controlling the kite without having to get used to the water, swimming and the board at the same time. Once your kite control is solid, you can continue with a water course in spring and move on to the next skills.
Who Is the Winter Course For?
The course suits complete beginners as well as riders who have tried kitesurfing before and want to refresh their skills before the new season.
We Teach When the Conditions Are Right
Winter lessons depend on wind, snow and weather. We choose the exact spot in Tallinn and Harju County according to conditions.
