Winter Snowkiting Course in Estonia
You do not have to wait for summer to start kitesurfing. Winter is a great time to get your first hours with a kite, learn to control it clearly and build skills you can take onto the water in spring. Our winter snowkiting course focuses on kite control, safety and kitesurfing basics, and when snow and wind allow, we put it into practice on the snow right away.
Lessons are taught by IKO licensed instructors on Harlem gear, with full insurance coverage.
What You Will Learn
- preparing and handling kitesurfing equipment
- launching and landing the kite safely
- understanding the wind window and wind conditions
- flying and controlling the kite in different positions
- key safety systems
- the skills you need for learning on the water later
Why Start in Winter?
On snow, you can focus on controlling the kite without having to deal with water, swimming and the board at the same time. In winter we practise snowkiting on both a snowboard and skis. Once your kite control is solid, you can continue with a water course in spring and move on to the next skills.
Who Is the Winter Snowkiting Course For?
The course suits complete beginners as well as riders who have tried kitesurfing before and want to refresh their skills before the new season.
Conditions
Winter courses depend on wind, snow and weather. We choose the exact spot within Tallinn and Harju County based on conditions.
Do not wait for summer. Take your first steps this winter and be ready for the kitesurfing season in spring.
